Blastracing

Blastrac closed circuit media shot blasting machines throw a large amount of steel abrasive media by centrifugal force at the surface. After the steel abrasive hits the surface, the shot blaster recycles the media. Dust and contaminants are removed by an air wash separator and are removed to a dedicated Blastrac dust collector. This makes the process almost dust-free in operation.

Shot blasting with steel shot is the most environmentally friendly abrasive blasting method there is, because there is no use of chemical products and no waste.

WHAT CAN SHOT BLASTING BE USED FOR?
To clean and prepare surfaces | such as steel, concrete and asphalt.
To remove top layers | like paint and epoxy.
To remove markings & rubber | from highways, runways, industrial floors and more.
To improve skid resistance | on surfaces such as sidewalks, bike paths, roads and runways.
To generate optical and aesthetics effects | on surfaces like roads, highways and runways.

Floor grinding

Dust free concrete grinding and dust free surface preparation use state of the art grinding processes to prepare most concrete floors prior to floor finish installation. Grinding provides a smoother, more even surface profile which in turns provides a significant improvement in floor finishing, from thin film resin coatings to liquid floor screeds for both new and existing floors.

Trident uses SPE grinding machines, all with the very latest in dust control systems. This allows us to prepare floors safely and quickly while operations in other parts of your building continue unhindered.

Trident can prepare large concrete floor areas quickly and economically for resin floor finishes.

Grit blasting

Grit blasting is the application technique that material cleaning, restoring and preparation industry experts use to apply abrasive material to products being readied for finishing. Essentially, the grit blasting process uses compressed air or high pressure water to shoot some form of abrasive media like steel grit or shot against the product being treated. These heavy-duty media materials that pound into a surface to loosen caked-on rust or baked-on pollution.
